I wrote about a month ago encouraging you to enjoy the summer.
We’re doing our best to do the same.
This was a recent beautiful morning close to the base of the Eleven Mile Canyon Reservoir dam. Actually, it’s the South Fork of the South Platte River.
As I stood there wading, casting and waiting, I thought about lots of parallels on how to catch the trout (I could see MANY in the water) and the retirement scenarios and strategies that I deal with every day. Maybe someday I’ll write about those.
For now, that day was all about enjoying a day of fishing with Joshua and his friend and a great buddy who could be a professional guide. The weather was perfect, the scenery was awesome, and the day was exciting. Great memories to enjoy.
Many of you know I’m not the fly-fishing guru. For those though that are or have some experience this beauty is a Cutbow Trout.
Get out and enjoy summer!
